What is the Agri-Food Pilot?
The Agri-Food Immigration Pilot is a federal program designed to address the labour needs of Canada’s agri-food sector. It offers eligible workers in specific industries and occupations the chance to apply for permanent residence after meeting key work and language requirements.
The pilot is open to workers in meat processing, mushroom production, greenhouse farming, and livestock raising—sectors that have long struggled with labour shortages.

Animal production (excluding aquaculture)

Note: You must have a full-time, non-seasonal job offer from a Canadian employer in one of these occupations.
